    *A new mode called DOMINATION where there are A LOT of ships in space both covenant and human are orbiting installation 04 filled with all of the halo maps EVER made put together…It would be a huge battle, ships versus ships and it all is connected so you could go ground side or space bound map since it is a huge battle say 500 vs. 500 or even 1000 vs. 1000 (if the 720 has enough processing power)so there is always someone on each map and make its kind of like dominion if you capture the map you can fortify it with certain items with your pints you can call in ODST AI’s or Elite AI’s (depending on the team your on)…imagine you have captured the best base on installation 04 and you have fortified it with a lot of auto turrets and tanks and shades plus most of your men…you could even move your ship above the base to protect it…sounds cool doesn’t it

    Here is the first part of a master list of reasonable ideas for Halo 5 I have compiled through my own ideas, friends, and ones that I just completely agree with. Key points are underlined and ?s are for interesting far-fetched ideas.

    GAMEPLAY
    Add a greater variety of assassinations and the ability to choose different ones with the D-pad.
    Allow a greater amount of players in a group; up to 24 or 32, especially if it is going to be on the new console.
    A much larger palette of game types, including ones from reach like halo ball and territories which were essential for awesome custom games like skee-ball, flushing toilet, and hall of balls.
    Bring infection back separately from flood as to allow “human zombies” for custom infection games like smear the queer, fat boy etc.
    Add more varied and extreme environments with different lighting scenarios.
    Allow weapons to be traded or dropped between AIs and other Spartans.
    More drivable vehicles; UNSC air and a full set of Promethean vehicles (We can have nice things if we ask Chris :)
    Bring firefight back with flood as an enemy and fight different waves of covenant, Promethean and flood, and/or implement them into Spartan ops season 2.
    Add a hijack resistance scene in which the driver can fight back by tapping action faster than the hijacker (by a certain balanced amount, which makes it more difficult for the driver.)
    Add boss battles and more action scenes.

    FORGE
    Add the option to make any forge object movable without settling in place, and the ability to “fuse” objects to act as one movable part.
    Get rid of item limit (a budget limit is understandable for memory and complexity purposes), but placing a limit on a specific item or even a family of items just the amount of creative maps that can be built without hacks or mods.
    Increase the sky box height.
    Add the guardians to the forge pallet with customizable ranges and targets?
    Add many more special effects to forge and combine them into one type of effect ball with Brightness control.
    Add advanced AIs and settings and allow them to be spawned in forge.
    Add placeable water or water spawners.

    WEAPON
    Lower the anti-material damage of plasma grenade
    Modify the railgun projectile into a high velocity non-explosive projectile instead of a lower velocity, explosive projectile.
    More advanced UNSC technology like the railgun, such as a coil gun sniper that would be an instant kill to anywhere on the body, but would need to be primed in advance and stay charged until it is shot, similar to the rail gun.

    UI, OTHER
    Reticle options like color if not shapes (since this might unbalance parts of game play)
    Add a custom games matchmaking engine (It would find
    Full control of what buttons do. (Select the function of every button independently
    More options for emblems and an editor for making your own.

      It seems to me that too many people on this page are reminiscing of previous halo games instead of thinking of new ideas. There is for sure some things to be learned from previous games, but you can’t just undo evolution for nostalgic reasons. If this includes you, just be happy with the older halo games you have and why they’re unique, and remember those unique properties as why that specific game was awesome and focus on on giving the next games their own unique look and feel.

        Ha ha drop a UNSC cruiser and a Covenant frigate and have 64 vs 64 trying to board the other ship and capture the bridge(some in troop transport,some in assault craft)…now that is some UP ALL NIGHT ON EDGE OF SEAT GAMING.

      Halo not trying to be like call of duty. The class system allows for each player to use their prefered weapon to level the playing-field and up the competitiveness.
      The killstreaks are to give you some rewards (weapons that cannot be found o nthe map) for your kills whereas in call of duty they see mto just be able getting kills from them (gunships and such)

    I also want longer missions than they have in this game. I think the campaign should be way longer than it is. I would like for one mission on legendary to last around 3 hours on average. usually it takes me and my little brother 1&1/2 hours to get one done on legendary. I also would like the return of the Prometheans if possible and the return of the falcon. I miss using it on forge. I too would like a larger variety of vehicles and a larger variety of items in forge. I also would like for the item colors to be customize-able as it could add more variety on forge maps into the game. I also would like a larger variety of game-types for matchmaking and i would like the return of firefight as well as forge-able firefight maps. I also would like the seasons for spartan ops to be longer than it was in halo 4. I also would like for the return of some weapons from halo reach but also keeping the ones in halo 4 in as well. the weapons that i want to return are: the needlerifle, the grenade launcher, the focus rifle. I also would like for the assault rifle to be more like it was in reach than halo 4. it looks more intimidating that way. i also would like for us to be able to use forerunner vehicles. I would like there to be a tank of some sort, a light weight vehicle like the mongoose but with weapons on it like a ghost, an assault vehicle similar to the warthog, a mech for the covenant and the forerunner and a forerunner aerial vehicle. i also would like a larger file share for xbl profiles

    I think halo five should bring back a unsc airship, preferably the Falcon. I would like to see better promethean weapons. keep the suppressor, lightrifle, and cannon. Get rid of the scattershot and replace it with a shot gun that shoots little nano-bots that follow you around like needlers. You can keep or scrap the binary I’m fine with it but not too fond of it. The pulse gernades are fine I guess. I would like to see some more promeathen enimies. The Knight and Watcher go together and then theres the crawler. I want a big promethean and would be seen more as a vehicle than an unit. Have it huge and shoot cannons and shit. I could go on forever with ideas
    Bring in more armor peices, or variants like in reach. I really enjoyed having the ability to make my helmet not look so standard. Another idea would be to make each peice of armor its on color so you can say make on shoulder ed and the other green instead of you having just a primary and a second dary color. How about complete customization. Also, this ones a little out there but you could give the ability to take off your helmet and have a little hud glasses kind of like Dare from ODST or how the marines have. I want larger maps, We need full on war instead of spawn kill kill kill respawn kill kill kill. Have a ranking system thats about skill and not just time. So that people who don’t play often and are good still feel welcomed instead of extremely shitty player being so high level that it disgraces the name. You can keep the class system, I think it helps makethe game play better. Bring in some more assassinations, Say you have a gun you can have the assassin ation of using you gun to knock out the enemy instead of the same knife gimmick.
    And if you’re going to show us with a knife, give us a goddamn knife. or don’t, its irrelevent aslong as there is sword. Also, perhaps maybe giving some more promethean weapons that are original and not just UNSc weapons with different skins. More embelms to start out with. I don’t care for perks aslogn as you can have two primary weapons in your class (Firepower Perk). Perks are fine aslong as they don’t make you stronger, whether that be sheilds or dammage. I would like to see some promethean vehicles. it seems redunt to have them since the knights can teleport but you could have a big promthean that you board and kill its AI system and you can ‘jack’ the promethean. NO KILLSTREAKS that resemble call of duty, the ordinance is fine. Great. Alsom, when you’re in a team have your secondary color still there insteadof being completele dubbed. I think halo two did that, not for sure. I would also like to have a water level and water vehicles. Maybe the Doozy from the Halo 2 concepts. Give me bigger forge maps, not just three little unrealistic islands in the middle of nowhere. Atleast that, if not give me a full scale map maker like in the RPG Maker games or even like far cry. I want a forge map with a lot of land and different elevations like Forge World. You could also give me the top part from sandbox, but much larger, and I’d be hapypy too. I keep refering to me, US. Give Us this. WE’d really enjoy it. I’d like to see a return of some characters we know. The Arbiter for example. Wes off in a civil war and thats a good story i’d liek to be apart of. Also, you cna make the visor color customizeable like armor color or gie it transperancy like someone stated above (just saw your thing;I like the ideas) A Bot system would be pretty cool for local custom games. Also, bring back elites for multiplayer. I liekd seeing really cool videos and without elites its all spartans all the time.
    Make an ememy spawn point so you can make forge maps, but down some spawns for them and have elites and such spawn there and come at you. I’d love to fight grunts, not jsut elite, on them maps we make.
    Halo 5 needs more diverse maps. I’d also liek to see some remakes, they make me smile. Last Resort for example, such a great map. I liek the Vahalla remake on halo 4 so i know 343 has it in them to do such things.

      Also, Bring back firefight! Give me the abiltiy to fight the covenant and them say some flood spores pop up and infect them. The prometheans would kick the floods ass, as they were design to do.

        Or even jsut split it up into three teams. One spartan team vs and elite team and then a flood team. Flood kills someone, they become flood. you’re fighting two teams at once and it’d be badass

    What i want in Halo 5 is a campaign dificulty more like halo 4′s. the campaign of reach was impossible for me to complete on legendary. the campaign in halo 4 is just easy enough for me to complete it on legendary but it still presents a challenge. I also would like a forge map that has a green screen block just like forge Island

    -I think that forge should have “a” HUGE map with deserts, tundras(winter),canyons, mountains, volcanoes, forests, beaches, tropical, savannas, lakes rivers waterfalls and other water types, scattered structures, maybe villages, and all of this should be on one island or maybe a group of islands.
    -They should have allot deeper waters and a proper day night cycle.

    Campaign
    -The entire time I played the campaign I wondered where the arbiter was. Was he killed, was he sucked out into space, was he taken prisoner, did he join the other covenant? Or had 343 just forgot about him?
    -Its possible that the covenant attacked because we got too close to there “god”.
    -spartans v.s covenant v.s forerunner v.s flood… enough said.
    -The covenant only worked with the forerunner because of the hole god thing. Its hard to explain.

    Infinity
    -all is all, have it stay the same but add firefight
    -The reason this category is here is because of this one thing, infinity should be a large area where your spartan walks around infinity and goes to where they want. If you have online then other players could walk around too (50-70 player cap). Here people have no weapons and can use there mics just so they can chat or decide where to go next together.
    -If they are doing this, then they are going to need a bunch more things for infinity.

    That is all I have but if I get more then I will tell you if I get more.

    I believe that there should be….

    -a new kind of helicopter with some sort of gun.
    -a forge world type map.
    -a large vehicle kind of like a mammoth, but actually has an interactive feature on it like a movable crane arm or you can lode base pieces on it and build a base using the crane….Kind of like arma 2 wasteland.
    -an actual crane as an aesthetic piece.
    -interactive pieces like doors or drawbridges that open with the push of a button.
    -more camo’s that are not unlocked through specializations and through challenges.
    -higher rank level to go to since 130 was pretty low.
    -more variety of map sizes and features…in halo 4 there was no maps with a beach and only a couple with snow.
    -at least raise the budget limit.
    -AI players for forge or custom games.
    -unusable vehicles for aesthetics.
    -multiple flood species because when the flood got you, you became flood though still had the main features of a human or covenant.
    - more large maps, i am tired of using ravine, impact, and erosion.

    Those are my thoughts of what should be added in……

    we also need to have a new game mode…imagine that you were playing on Ragnarok or forge world on halo 4 or reach, with a lot of your friends and you think you are about to demolish the other team an out of nowhere the flood pops up, but not like halo 4 this is an AI on legendary and you and the other team have to fight each other along with the flood…think about it it would cause WAY more tension than any previous multiplayer or campaign in the game, while at the same time it helps your skill and team work an will prove vital to clan interactions and would be great for clan wars.

    I would like to see one HUGE forge map with teleporters that get you around like in sand box with the ground and high part of the map but to different types of islands.

    also i think that they should put a little more work in the teleporters now like for vehicles so they don’t go flying or fall off a cliff

    another thing is a fire fight mode that lets you chose your race and the enemy race like i wanna be a elite vs promethean and so on.

    also a game mode like dominion buy with a twist like when you start a game it chose a team captain and he can designate a place and a ship of some kind drops a base outpost like in halo wars and upgrade it from there on

    The budget in the forge is annoying why is there a budget and why does a certain object stop being produced after using it for a while…plus make it so where if you were making a ship or something you could produce the walls and stuff evenly instead of them coming uneven you could press a button and it would line up with something else to make it even instead of all the hard work an patience it take to make an even ship or building.

    I think the one thing I would like to see the most is from Halo 3: ODST. I think it would be cool to be able to take off your helmet in multiplayer and spartan ops and you are able to completely customize your face, like in the Elder Scrolls games. that way you don’t need to wear a helmet, and if people don’t like the idea, just keep your helmet on. I also think that instead of just the visor ccolor, there should also be a visor transparency option that ranges from easily see through to not see through (normal). I don’t think the Halo games need any more armor sets. They should only bring back old helmets and such, not just keep making more.

    I also would like to see different species in multiplayer, such as Brutes and Elites as well. It would work well if there was a total of 150 ranks, 50 for each species. When you first put your game in it should show a cinematic of each species and the pros and cons of that species, and then you get to select which one you want, also with face customization. It might be good to, like the specializations in 4, you aren’t required to be the species you are leveling up with.

    There were some great innovations in halo 4 but to tell the truth I think they abandoned a lot of features which I think really made the other halos. So I’ve made a list.

    Gametypes:
    Halo 4 has removed so many game options, and as a huge custom and forger, this really disappoints me. theres no option to toggle instant spawns, no custom power ups, NO FREE FOR ALL OBJECTIVES: It really frustrated me after hours of making a free for all dominion map that you can’t have no teams in dominion settings. I thought: “no worries, ill just make 10 different teams and put 1 player per team” but when trying to change teams there’s only red and blue. This made me so annoyed, in reach bungie added so much to custom games, and it seems to me all that work is being wasted. This could be fixed by making all gametypes have all teams available, I’d love to see 3 way dominion or CTF. I did like ordnance drops though, and something I’d like to see is an option to change how many spare clips a player or loadout starts with (so I could start with 0 spare clips up to 5) as well as the option to make different loudouts have different traits. something else I’d love to see is similar to both tiers from invasion and ordnance drops is something you can do in game to access better loudouts, perhaps reach a certain score or acquire a certain ordnance, this would be great especially if it could be individual, so some players have access to loudouts others don’t.

    1 Flag – seriously, it’s been around for ages, it seems pointless to take it out, its a classic
    Headhunter – HH was so fun in reach and I still go back to play it, it should be in halo 5
    Regicide – should be a custom game option in slayer, since they’re so similar
    Assault – go back to making grifball an assault type, I liked regular assault
    INVASION – is my favourite gametype from any halo, why it was taken out is lost on me I liked invasion’s tiered games, it’d be great to have more tiered game options in other gametypes too
    Infection – I didn’t really like flood at all, it took the simple parts of infection and made it less customisable, I liked visual effect options but flood can’t even use weapons in halo 4

    Armor and unlockables:

    I liked the range of armour pieces in halo 4, but I think many helmets weren’t very halo. Maybe this is just me being nitpicky but the way I imagine halo helmets is mostly big frontal visors. It was interesting in reach to see one or two helmets with little or no visor but I think halo 4 took it a bit to far, some helmets just really dont look halo.
    I had a really good idea to increase unlockables and customisation. If at level 1 (or whatever starting rank is) you have the default armour and primary and secondary colours, you could unlock as you progress for areas to colour your spartan. For example imagine a spartan with white primary, blue secondary, and red as ‘armour detail’ similar to halo 3. When get access to more colour areas you could change things like helmet primary or helmet secondary, which changes your primary or secondary colour but only on your helmet, overriding your base colour for that spot. this would increase the number of armour possibilities and really make your character different. Another thing I’d like to see is armour tint, which adds a slight tint of selected colour to your primary similar to mass effect multiplayer.
    I’d like to see the return of armour attachments for helmets, like in reach because they added more variety without making completely new helmets, hopefully this would stop repetitive or disinteresting helmet designs (Strider and Ranger helmets make me cringe) as well as make more options for the player. I know this was semi-replaced with armour colour variations but who says we can’t have both? I liked armour colour variations but would like to see armour skins and weapon skins as an option for each item instead of a completely new weapon/armour piece per skin.
    On unlocking items, the way armour is unlocked in halo 4 makes it less interesting acquiring the armour you want. I like the armour variant per commendation mastery but think it could go further than that by having achievement related armour pieces, like back in halo 3. In halo reach helmets could be unlocked through waypoint by completing achievements from old games, like a legacy thing, I remember going back to beat halo 3: ODST on heroic just to get that CQB helmet, which was a very rewarding way to get armour.

    Weapons and Equipment:

    I liked personal loudouts in halo 4 quite a bit, although I’m glad they can be restricted in gametype options it made it more interesting on the road to 50 because I could choose what I wanted to spent my points on. I’ve always found it more interesting to choose what I unlock than have access to all these things I don’t want until i hit the super rank and finally get the decent stuff. I still think some weapons need balancing (DMR seems to dominate) and I really did like reticle bloom in halo reach, even though it was widely unpopular, there needs to be some way to balance precision weapons, perhaps by recoil or reload speed.

    Power weapons:
    I’d like to see some new changes to power weapons so they seem a bit more unique and rewarding, if you have the skill. The incineration cannon was undoubtedly overpowered but it was balanced quite well with the small ammo cap and long reload. I thought the spartan laser was well balanced but I’d love to see a high tech targeting system, something like when zoomed in it puts little targets over vehicles to help you aim. The sticky detonator made for some interesting gameplay, but it lacked the skill required to use the old grenade launcher. To keep it interesting the two weapons should be mixed together, say it automatically sticks to vehicles and has the little radar thing but you can fire it like the grenade launcher with the hold and release to detonate EMP trick. I think this would help balance it and make it more useful in a variety of situations (instead of hiding around corners with it) but requiring a bit more skill and practice to use effectively. The scattershot was interesting to play with and providing a little bit of difference from the shotgun, but it needs to really stand out as an extremely advanced promethean weapon, perhaps with dual firing modes, for example you can hold it down longer for more accuracy and range. The gravity hammer was overpowered, 1 hit kill with 20 hits at 100% charge. I think it needs to be tuned to be different from the energy sword, maybe the hammer affects vehicles more but has a slightly longer swinging time.

    Armour abilities:
    I’m not totally sold on some of the armour abilities in halo 4, because some simply aren’t useful enough in matchmaking. It would be good to see more of a balancing system or a concept following abilities of ‘high risk high reward’, meaning each ability should both help and hinder you, so it can’t be spammed or used just as a sort of ‘get out of jail free’ (like armour lock was).
    I’d like to see the return of a bubble shield or something similar, since regen field didn’t block any damage. I know that it was taken out because it wasn’t very balanced, but it could be tweaked to have a damage limit and perhaps make it more difficult to see out from inside.
    Regen field should be tweaked to blur vision a little more, a good balance I think to stop it from becoming all reward no risk.
    Hardlight shield is good, being balanced and reducing movement.
    Thruster pack is good, but I don’t like the way it cancels out all physics on you will you use it, meaning if you use it while being propelled by a man cannon you’ll lose all the momentum you had travelling through the man cannon.
    Active camo is good, but not very useful except at long ranges when not moving. I think it should be tweaked so it’s almost impossible to see a cloaked enemy while they aren’t moving, firing or doing anything except looking, as well as reducing the amount your cloak is affected by movement. This could be balanced by perhaps making a short spark when firing while cloaked, like extra muzzle flash. This would discourage people camping with sniper weapons while cloaked. Something else I think would make cloak more interesting is that if you hold down the button instead of toggling it on you would go almost completely invisible and your camo will not be affected by movement, but only lasting for about 4.5 seconds. This would allow you to do short sprints while remaining invisible but balancing by completely draining your ability bar.
    Sentry is okay, but I’ve found it not to be useful since it dies in about 3 hits and takes down shields in about 6, if it had a fully auto weapon with a range similar to that of the storm rifle but only doing about a third as much damage it could be useful in choke points, maybe if it could take a few more hits too. This could be balanced by making it automatically forget you when it loses sight of you, so if its firing at you and you hide behind a rock it will continue patrolling it’s cone of vision, giving you the opportunity to run past it before it turns back again.
    Promethean vision was interesting but it deployed too slowly for me to find it useful. I think it should have a slightly larger range and get to that range a bit faster than it does currently, to balance it should be visible on the motion sensor (like currently) and be easier to fool, for instance people using active camo will be completely invisible to someone using promethean vision, no matter how fast they’re moving. Hologram should look exactly like a player while in promethean vision and auto sentry/hardlight/regen field should only show up as a faded blue, making it difficult to assess the situation as easily. I also think promethean vision should last longer, but take longer before it will start to regen after it is expired. I don’t like that you could use it for 2 or 3 seconds every 2 or 3 seconds. It would be more balanced to use it for 7-9 seconds, then wait for 9-12 while it regens.
    For Hologram there’s not much to say. It works well but I think its very easy to tell what is and isnt a hologram, to fix this I think it should flicker less often and maybe have an option where holding down the button will make your holgram sprint, making him look more like a player. Another thing that could work as a benefit could be if you could track your hologram through walls, giving you a better idea of when it gets killed.

    I think thats most of what I have to say, I hope 343 fixes the things that need it and improve on what needs innovating. Thanks for reading.

    Campaign:
    less reptilian look to covenant, Grunt dialogue, Arbiter and the shipmaster again, Sentinels fight you, Switch between cheif and Arby, and return of the flood.

    Multiplayer:
    Forge world 2: plains, aircraft carrier and MUCH more room so you can add pelicans and
    phantoms.
    Excort game type: each team would get some kind of escort like mammoths or pelicans
    depending on map and will have to safely escort civilians to provided place while other
    team tries to use everything from AA-Wraiths to Halo 2 scarabs to take out the evacuation
    vehicle.
    Flood game type Improved: 3 People start out as Infection forms (little bug things) and
    then they infect a Player and turn into a combat form. when you infect a player you get
    everything they had (Species, Weapons, Armor etc) after about a minute you will turn into
    a Carrier form and can transport infection forms. while you infect players a side objective
    would be to gather living things like plants and bodies and use them for extra biomass to
    build a Gravemind.
    Invasion: the same except the players could also be Grunts Jackals and Hunters
    Vehicles: everything in halo 2 and the Wolverine from halo wars and the AA-Wrath from
    halo 3

    I feel that the booting/ betrayal system needs a massive overhall and is not address recently. For example a proximity based system governing grenades and rockets ext. That if an enemy is withing say 10 game feet of the explosion a boot is not promoted. For example many times I have stuck and enemy who then a fellow teammate tried to mealy and died for me to then be booted. All mealy betrayals what prompt an immediate boot. Example I have the flag with mo sheildw to be killed so someone else can pick up and score. Vehicle splatters shall be excused for the first time with the acception of the Mantis stomp and ghosts boost unless there are enemies withing x feet similar to the exsplosives similary a one time pass before promoting a boot. All other forms of betrayals such as shooting will be a one time only pass. Also players betrayed should not drop weapons to avoid power weapon betrayals. Finaly an overall betral count should be kept count so that say after 50 betrayals deemed intentional ie mealy a player will refieve a console ban from playlists. Oh I almost forgot vehicle friendly fire should be off and emps should have no affect. Really the final last bit is that if the boot system is not overhalled then friendly fire should be off (which would preferably be a last effort). The current system in place doesn’t work because I have in one game of dominion been betrayed 8 times 2 grenades 2 splatters 1 rocket and 3 mealy for power weapons others wanted and not once received an oppertunity to boot a player but when I stuck a warthog with both an enemy and teammate in it I was booted within a second by a spammer who I badly got through hearing the work betrayal before I was out of the game. The system sucks thanks for reading AMD excuse grammer mistakes. I appreciate feedback on others ideas and constructive criticisms. Again thank you.

    I would like for you to be able to drop human and alien AI’s onto your own forge or firefight map. It would be cool to just sit on top of a hill and watch human, forerunner, flood, and covenant go at it and if you want to you can intervene into the fight and turn the tide of the war…Imagine it say you could do this to Ragnarok on halo 4, give the covenant one side and humans the other…give each human a special property or just make them all assault and have the two sides clash and see which AI is better. choose their loadouts even give them special property’s like damage boost or shielding for the assault team…or speed boost and overshield for scouts and etc…firefight would have no need to exist (not to say I don’t love it) if you could do this it would instantly crush call of duty or battlefield (also not to say I don’t like them) everyone would play halo even though they already do

    I have an idea for a new gametype. Don’t know what it should be called but each team would spawn in a giant derivable ship in the sky. Your goal would be to destroy the other teams ship. Each ship would have pelicans with warthogs on the back and there would be other vehicles. The ship that u spawn in would be derivable and would have turrets on it. There is ground below the ship so u can drop off warthogs on the ground. There would be room for a lot of people on the gametype for maximum awsomeness.

    Well, I don’t know if anyone would agree, but does anybody remember in Halo: CE that when you were on the passenger’s seat on a warthog, your vision would still be in 1st person? So, I would really love that happening, but with an option, like: “Warthog passenger vision: 1st person | 3rd person” that would simply be one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen (besides playable Sangheili). The option is pretty much looks-only. It would only affect a little bit the person on the passenger seat’s gameplay, but not much. Just something that popped on my mind, it would be a very nice complementation, specially for Machinima 1st person cutscenes :)

    Glad they added the weapon drops in Halo 4 but they could go further to make you feel more in the action. Instead of vehicles, or all vehicles, spawning out of no where have pelicans or phantoms bring them in.

    Also in the beginning of game have people drop in in drop pods, fly in on a flying vehicle, ride in on a transport vehicle, or even just a scene before the count down reaches one you running down a hallway, entering through doors, and them closing behind you guys. This would make the game more cinematic. Also this could apply to later players joining in.

    Also a radio of someone talking about what’s happening on the battle field would be cool. Each spartan is given a number with their tag so they game could say spartan 3 needs some help or the enemy has gain a tank or a new enemy has just join the fight. And even when someone leaves the game it could say spartan 3 has just been confirmed dead.

    Finally in infection it would be cool at the end of the game, think it pastes three minutes, you get like short window to try to get on a evacuation vehicle to earn extra points.

    Like to here what you think of these ideas and if you don’t understand the, I’ll try to explain them better.

        Another thing you could do with that is that the red team is trying to hijack the blue team pelican and if blue defends it long enough you win and take off with a cinematic at the end where the whole map gets bombed by a long sword or broadsword. It would be awesome in my opinion.

    In Halo 5 there should be a covenant firefight mode where you chose what covenant character you want. Then depending on what character you choose will determine what UNSC/Prometheans you will face.
    Grunts=Normal Soldiers
    Jackals=UNSC specialists
    Elites=Spartans
    Generals=Prometheans
    BONUS ROUND=a mosh pit of all enemies

    What we want is the story of what happened to the truce between Humanity and the Elites. What happened to the arbiter. I personally think that they should make a game called, The Covenant. You play as the Early arbiters and work your way through the development of the Covenant through the arbiters eyes and get sent on missions by the Prophets. You try to retrieve ancient forerunner relics to complete the Great Journey. you play and the story takes twists and turns that all takes place before the birth of the human race and eventually ends up with the begining of Halo. Thats like 3 whole games that could be made based of the idea of halo and will surely sell.

    I’ve posted some other ideas on your various youtube pages like a needle rifle that rather than super combining in the form of an explosion it has a delayed super combine that EMPs the target only after the shield recharges, this weapon is still precision and head shot capable, this negates the normal response for some players to run and hide till there shield recharges then come out and get the drop on there would be killer, so my ideas for how this weapon would work, it works by requiring a minimum of 3 rounds to hit, it has a similar firing rate to the DMR (maintaining the carbine as the quickest firing precision rifle) it like the DMR, lightrifle and BR will be a 4 shot headshot weapon however it will have this EMP super combine effect this will only come into effect after an enemy has retreated to regen there shield this then causes the needles that are stuck in them to glow a greenish purple colour if another needle hits the target it will EMP the target taking away there shield in a single shot allowing a second to kill. The needles will however pop like normal needles after about minute if they are not used to EMP. Hope you like halofollower please reply :)

    A beefed up spiker that could fire quickly to begin with doing little damage but as it fires the barrel starts to glow red making the weapon fire slower and more accurate and the rounds do double the damage of the normal rounds, then if continually fired, the barrel glows white making the weapon fire even slower (comparable to the speed of a Dmr) however it’s as accurate as a precision weapon and does about the same damage per shot as the precision weapons so on halo 4 it would be head shot capable with a white barrel making it a for shot kill weapon. So essentially with a none heated barrel the weapon does a little less damage per shot than an AR but fires faster at the expense of accuracy then after 40 rounds the barrel glows red It deals slightly more damage than the AR and it is just as accurate however it fires slower then after 25 rounds the weapons barrel glows white and now it is as accurate as a BR with each round dealing the same damage and firing just as fast, however it has no scope. The weapon after the reload animation cools to the red barrel stage and takes roughly 50 seconds on inactivity to cool to its normal stage, it takes about 20 seconds to cool from white to red.

    Every map in halo history wrapped around a “forge planet”. Be able to put friendly ODST’s or Spartans on the multiplayer map, where an 8 man team has each map. So you can protect it by fortifying your map with your solders and weapons with a budget kind of like forge. You can take over other maps and the more maps you have the more points you get, and can hold so that you can use them on fortification or your team’s armor upgrades, like overshield, speed boost, and damage boost. Basically you and your team can have speed boost overshield and damage boost at the same time. With enough money you can give your Placable these upgrades to make your army unbeatable…and for connection problems so the game doesn’t end when someone leaves or connection dies, make the persons character stay on the map on a legendary x2 AI so you still have someone on the map to help, and he is good to.

Wat has happened to the unsc, arbiter, truths with the covenent, etc… maybe they could also explain a little bit more of the story of gravemind and how he flood came into existence

      Oops one more thing, an actual BIG team gametype, kinda like Battlefield where you can fly around in jets, but for Halo it would be the Longsword, Broadsword, or Pelican.

    What I hope for in Halo 5 is a new playlist in matchmaking. specifically something using the Mammoth. What I have in mind is “Defend the Mammoth” A big map design just for this playlist. Both teams get a Mammoth. Someone has to drive it whilst the rest of the team defends it. The Mammoths Rail Gun is available for use every 5 minutes or so. The rest of the team fights to the death. At the start of each match there is a Mammoth at spawn, power weapons and vehicles. Ordnance is different. You get weapons in it but are also vehicles that you can send in. The first team to destroy the enemy Mammoth wins an alternative to win is to have control of both Mammoths for 20 seconds or so. I know chances of this are slim, but itd be fun.

      Great idea I had a similar one where the mammoth was used for an invasion variant. For ordinance it could be used to unlock the weapons like how they were inside dieting the campaign. They would alao be good for a ctf gametype as well. Maybe shift or shrink the Mac gun and place a landing pad for a falcon/ pelican/ hornet.

    And also some clans like to make their own “clan bases” where they like to have meetings on halo 3 and 4
    Make it so where if some one decides to try to take it over, that you have to take it
    In such as in dominion (or more interesting and realistic like invasion on reach) and if you manage to take it you can have the base for your own reasons…and in order to make a very fun twist you (obviously) can’t take it over unless the clan is there inside there “meeting”, so it requires a great deal of Intel in order to do so. Also in order to make it more interesting (and hard) to take the base we need at least 30 people that can be on (one team) plus enough room for an invading squad (if any) I don’t “think” that this would become a connection problem for the x-box 720 so I think there could be more than that (possibly) plus make forge world multiplayer so as you can make a game mode where you can take over another teams map and you can use points to call in ODSTs, regular marines, or if you’re an elite call in brutes, and jackals and that’s not including
    Some “teammates” (friends) and maybe even call how hard they fight for instance, for more points you can upgrade them (easy, normal, heroic, legendary) so as the other teams can fight your men as if they were on legendary plus the type of weapons and armor upgrades like overshield and speedboost…I mean imagine fighting with your own soldiers you can give simple orders like attack, stop, cease fire, stay, retreat and etc
    With enough skill and points you could make your own army. and have the ultimate clan war. Imagine it
